How We Work

Financial Planning is a journey because life is a journey. At Jacksons we passionately believe that money is unimportant when compared with your family, your health and the realisation of your dreams. Indeed, money is nothing more than an enabler of these things, and sometimes a disabler if you get it wrong.

As a firm of Chartered Financial Planners with well over 100 years of combined experience in helping our customers, we understand the challenges you face in organising your finances, the worries you have about financially protecting your family against the worst, and the concerns you have about an increasingly unpredictable and volatile world.

We are a fee-based practice, which means that all the costs for any work we do for you are agreed with you up front, before any chargeable work is done. We give you the choice as to how we get paid, either by offsetting any available commission against the fee, or by arranging a commission-free contract and billing you for the work.

The first meeting is at our expense, and with no obligation on you. It is designed for you and your adviser to get to know each other well enough to determine whether you can work well together. We will also explain how we work and how we are paid, so that you can make an informed decision about working with us. At the end of the first meeting you will know what the next steps are, and how much they will cost. There is more detail about our three-step financial planning process here

Please get in touch if we can help you realise your financial hopes.
