Steve is Penzance born and bred and has been a financial adviser for 26 years, obtaining the first mandatory regulated Financial Planning exams in 1996, the Mortgage Advice Qualification in 2003, the Long Term Care Planning Certificate in 2009, and finally the Diploma in Financial Planning in 2011.
Prior to joining Jacksons Wealth in 2014, Steve became an independent adviser in 2012, working with a national network. He had previously worked for Barclays servicing the mid-Cornwall branches, and he feels that his local knowledge is a definite advantage when dealing with clients.
Steve is trained and fully qualified in advising businesses, helping to protect the hard-working sole traders and owners of limited companies. This is in addition to his work with personal clients which includes advice on mortgages and long term care needs.
Steve continues to study on a regular basis to keep up to date with current legislation and new developments. In his spare time, he likes nothing better than to grow fruit and veg on his allotment, often exchanging plants and produce with his clients.
